this OTG adaptor link is for a product that does not work as the video shows. It has no micro usb female connection.
I add a 64gb usb to my firestick 4k max. It shows up as 64gb external storage but when I press record, it doesnt show up anywhere. Any suggestions?

If your Television has an ethernet connection to it already and you set your firestick up like you are presenting here, is there still a need to do a wired connection directly to the Firestick. Seems redundant, but is it redundant?
When I click on the OTG hub you have in your list, it does not show the one you are using in your video. The one Amazon shows and I ordered is a wall power type. How do you make it work with your Firestick so I can have Ethernet. Good video except for the OGB hub.

Ok, so I've watched this episode of hooking up the 2 terabyte external drive. But, when I install the drive, it is not prompting to format. Why? I promise, everything is hooked up as you direct.
I have tried everything to get rid of a black screen. Remote is working it flashes. I have also changed hdmi ports. Do not know what to do next, have been trying for last 2 days.

Do only certain apps transfer to the external drive? or can you store all your apps on the external drive so your firestick has only a couple apps on it? I currently am only able to save 3 or 4 apps to my external drive and everything else goes to my firestick. Am I doing something wrong? Great video and channel you have.

I followed the steps correctly and the 2 TB hard drive (bought the Toshiba from one of your links) doesn't show up when I plug it in for set up. My Firestick 4K Max just reboots.

Did the setup. My firestick says no signal. Restarted Sony Bravia. Blue lights are on on the Mission USB power cable plugged in to my Bravia usb port (5amp), Firestick plugged into usb power cable. Can you advise why it's not powering up. All the Bravia usb ports (3) are 5Amp.
This setup doesn't seem to work for me., I ordered all the accessories you listed, even the USB hub. I have power to the firstick. But when I plug either the hard drive, or the hub to the other the firestick shuts off. When I restart it, it doesn't see the drive. I have ordered the 4K, I'm assuming my issue is because my firestick is only 3rd generation. Comments?

I had to do a reset on my 4Kmax firestick after I installed the slim2T. Do I need to go through unplugging Slim2T from the mission adapter and reinstall it? Would it be advisable to follow Troy's instructions to split the drive into to files – one for apps and one for movies, TV etc? The 2T drive is a lot of space just for apps. Also, I started getting messages that the drive setup with mission was taking too much power. Should I plug it in to power instead of the TV? Thanks for all the info!
