The Amazon Firestick is a very popular streaming device but we noticed something you should look out for before buying a Firestick.
The Firestick is a very good device for it’s price, but we also don’t want to spend more money than we need to on streaming devices.

  1. Thats right, Im from India and thats what the price is in Indian currency. I regret not buying last year when the Fire tv was literally half the price, 1500 RS. But I wasnt using a wifi back then and had no idea about the benefits of internet TV and smart tv. I have to buy it for 4000 Rs now, it's worth it, as I will save that money by cutting the Dish TV, and the monthly bill will be only for the Wifi. It is worth it even if it was more expensive coz imagine the comparison with Smart TVs or compare with the Airtel Xtreme box which requires separate monthly recharge and they dont update their software and may have already blocked all third party apps, so the Fire tv is really a big deal. I dont go for 4K coz it's a scam really, we can hardly tell the difference between 720 and 1080p, and that too for 50inch and above sizes of screens. Don't waste your money on 4K 8K, or even full HD. Spread awareness. Mind you it is still 20% discount consistently, as the original Price is 5000RS. So, I am not gonna wait for the sale which happens at the end of year from October. It is consistently on 20% discount.

  2. I’m on my 8th Firestick. I have the 4K max now. Paid under $40 us . That’s only for testing. I use a beelink mini PC with intel inside . Only because after owning all those sticks I gave away to people who really needed them. Had a shield pro for 7 months. Used it for maybe 2. Gave it away because not worth the hassle of selling it. I dumped FB so no market place. so my buddy Joe has the Shield.
The Firestick max with 2gb ram is nice. Much better than I expected for .5 more ram. But at the end of the day I just have a strong hatred for all things Android. For $200 I’ve had the mini PC on almost non stop for over a year. And no silly android games.
