  1. Thanks Adam, cracking video, looks pretty good but at £999.00, that is a very hefty price to pay. Did you check what like Freeview looked on the tv?

Adam, do you know if this device plays Freeview ok?

Can you change the Alexa name in these TV, I have an Alexa device that allows me to use any of the following 3, which are Alexa, Echo or Computer, I left mine at echo which means it does not reply to voices on TV or when visitors are in or just general chat, it has solved as a lot of my issues.

  2. I Did make a comment about the fire t v of how slow it loaded.and yes its a JVC.interesting to see your follow up on this 65 inch TV.will it load lets say BBC 1 right away.or do you have to switch this tv on as a Fire stick would come on.or when you switch on next time BBC is there right away .great site as always

  3. Dear FreeTech,

I am a coach at and mentor at a local scout club. I and seeking to start a games room for my 6yr to 10yr old and hold gaming competitions. And I am seeking donations in the form of the boys first system. As a scout club we rely on donations and organisations to help out as much as possible. We are also self funded via parents and scout leaders.

Could this be something you could help with? We need Screens and whatever we can get our hands on. Does koto have to be new. To be honest we would prefer old tech as going to a side room off the sport hall as a games room.

    Kind Regards
    Can we speak?

  4. I'll wait for the next edition when they'll probably add more ram, the reviews on Amazon UK arnt so great saying it does indeed become slow and sluggish, but anyone who knows anything about computers, and lets face it, thats what this is, it has a processor, motherboard and ram in it with a big screen, knows 2gb of RAM is rubbish and wouldnt run Windows 7, they need to add another 10 to that, even my S22 Ultra has 12gb of ram in it lol.

  5. I just got the 75” Omni and it looks great. Had to use the equalizer settings to get it to sound just right. My biggest gripe is when I’m watching something in an app, say Netflix, and I pause the movie for an extended period of time, when I return, the TV has entered into Ambience Mode and kicks me out of Netflix. This goes for any app. When I say “Alexa Play”, she doesn’t know what I mean and I have to navigate back into the app and find my movie. Not sure if there’s a way to fix this? I’ve searched every setting on the TV and found nothing.

  6. Everything sounds great but the elephant in the room is the incredible slow non responsive Fire TV menu system on this TV. Few YouTubers reviews will address that major flaw, but the Amazon reviews on the Amz website for this TV have plenty of angry customers complaining. Me being one. I bought the 65" Omni with high hopes but apps just won't work under such a slow processor. Navigation is a joke. The lag will make you go crazy. Or is it the lack of internal memory the problem? I don't know. I once had an Insignia 24" Fire TV, their 2020 model, and that 2020 Insignia had the very same issue with the painfully slow navigation system. Then Insignia released their newer 2022 model and the lag had been completely fixed. I suspect Amazon knows this major issue exists with their Omni too, and thats why the sudden drop in price on this Omni Fire TV. And I would bet at this very moment Amazon is preparing to release their 2024 model with-out the lag annoyance issue. Just a thumbs up. You might want to wait on this. Luckily I can return mine and I plan to. ✌

  7. I really like this TV even though it is very reflective when there's sunlight i'm just hoping that they can't put the Vega operating system on this TV if they actually put Vega OS in their new fire TV devices this will probably be my last amazon fire TV after having the TV for about a month i'm went ahead and got the amazon fire TV sound bar it's not the best sound bar in the world but it definitely helps the TV sound especially since I'm in a small bedroom

  8. I bought the 75 inch Omni QLED Fire TV. I compared this to the TLC which is the manufacturer of Amazon's Fire tv and I also looked at the Hisense as all three are entry level smart TV 's. I went with the Fire tv For a couple reasons. I wanted all the goodness that comes with Alexa and the fire stick platform. Plus I wanted the Automatic on off feature and I've gotta say the picture quality isn't much different than the high end stuff costing 1500 on up. The final decision maker was the price. I got this on a Black Friday sale for 849 US and 24 months 0% interest through Amazon. So far I'm loving it !!!
