I can't seem to exit the overlay. Using the same sequence to enter the setup menu but it won't come up again to turn the overlay off???

When I do it, it will scroll down. But when I push menu I get a menu asking to watch the trailer or add to watchlist for which ever app I land on. Creepy note: More times than not I will land on "Jared from Subway"! Eww!! Your help would be greatly appreciated!
