Hi Doc. Great video! 👍I’m using Fast task killer every day before streaming and I have no problems with buffering! I Also using your TechDoc cache cleaner + rebooting the Firestick, which makes also a smoother streaming. Just wondering, why Amazon makes it unavailable? 🤷‍♂️ I buy it, before they did that! Well I decided to fiddle with the old firestick again for the last week every thing has been working flawlessly, Until Amazon pushed an update which broke the Home button entirely, If you push the home button it switches my TV HDMI to an incorrect port that my TV doesn't even have. This happens with any remote I have tried just after an update.
Well I solved the issue, Apparently somethings broken in the update that effects "HDMI CEC Device Control", Turning it off solved this issue.

I recently purchased the latest Amazon Fire TV Cube. It has been playing 4K movie files perfectly without any buffering, e.g. Top Gun Maverick (4K). After following the steps outlined in this video, my Fire TV cube started buffering within the first two minutes of playback and continued buffering for minutes until I finally killed it. My Invidia Shield will play this same movie from the same server without any buffering so I don't believe the issue is my server or the movie's file. I don't know what to do except to return all these settings to what they were before the changes and try again to see if that works. Just wondering if you have any thoughts on my issue. Hopefully Amazon hasn't detected these changes and is trying to sabotage me 🙂.

Hello Doc, I just installed the Developer Tools Menu on my 2nd gen Fire Cube. When I start it, I do not see the pop up where I can turn on System X-ray. All I see are the Quick Launch Shortcuts. Any thoughts?

When im trying to do this fast task killer its not giving me a option to turn things on or off like the icon that you use on yours ! It just says Warning: using apps from unknown sourses from my firestick Tv 4k & personal data are less secure & at risk of unexpected behaviour & I agree ill be solely responsible for any damage to my devics or loss of data that may result in using these applications!!!! Whsg should i do? Turn on ? Or cancel?
