  1. I don't see the problem? You don't buy a Honda and then demand that they allow you to use Lexus accessories. Companies are allowed proprietary functions/accessories especially if they've spent the time and money developing and bringing to market. Got a problem with it? Develop a product that allows the functions you want and market it yourselves…. Problem solved.

  2. Here is the simple fact…. You have more choices than we ever had as Teenagers or Young Adults … We grew up with 3 channels then we got Cable and our World was blew away. It is still cheaper now to have access to anything you want. But we are in an age of We want it ALL for as cheap as we can get it…. I enjoy the Firestick and have a Roku as well. Firestick for Browser and Roku for whenever the Grand Kids come over haha… Roku got stripped of all the adult apps so it's Family Friendly now haha..

  3. There are more ways than one to stream.
If Amazon wants to be stingy with its' methods of streaming choose another method and when Amazon sees its' number of users go down they will change their minds if they want to be able to stay afloat in the streaming arena.

  4. I use roku sticks. Have a roku tv over my bar outside. Have a fire stick the wife bought that she was told was jail broke on the tv in the bedroom. Work's ok, just reloaded it this week as we are cutting off cable, going to a 1 gig fiber internet. Been using a roku stick in the living room tv for over a year. Just bought one for my garge today. Cutting the cord while adding subs that we really watch to the roku stick is saving us about 180 a month. The fiber is 100 a month, fyi.
