I had this issue with My fire tv stick 4k…
But i solve this issue myself…
First turn off your router which connected to fire stick…
Turn off and then turn on firestick…
If u r lucky then firestick not hang on home screen…bcz firestick stuck on home screen due to wifi connected…without wifi firestick operate normally…So I found wifi internet is route cause…
To solve this problem simply factory reset fire stick and after reset configure firestick and wifi…
