KODIFIREIPTVhas received a letter from ACE (Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment) respectfully asking us to disable our Rapid App Installer and cease covering topics that pertain to 3rd party apps, add-ons, websites, services, etc., that may violate copyright laws within the United States.
ACE specifically singled out the free application Stremio in their letter and we find it odd that this same application is readily available through Google Play Store.  Due to this application being available in Google Play, we figured that it was perfectly fine to be available within our Rapid App Installer.
We have always added legal disclaimers to our app and reviews that these various apps, add-ons, and streaming sites could be legally used if accessing media not protected by copyright, such as works that fall under public domain status.  We still stand behind this statement.
In each of our reviews, we also point out the legal questions surrounding each application and recommend that users utilize the legal streaming applications that we then link to.
