LIV Golf events will feature a different format than their counterpart the PGA Tour.
These events are set up as team events with individual competition as well.
LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman stated the following regarding this new league and format.

LIV conducted a “Player Draft” to select teams for the designated players participating in each event.
Unlike PGA Tour events, LIV tournaments will consist feature only 54 holes with Shotgun Starts and No Cuts.
