It appears Samsung is now in the crosshairs of Lapsus$ as the hacking group started to tease a Samsung data leak last week based on an image with C/C++ directives in Samsung software.Image Source: Bleeping ComputerThe hacker group has claimed to obtain over 190GB of files, including the source code for “every Trusted Applet (TA) installed in Samsung’s TrustZone environment used for sensitive operations.”The group has also allegedly stolen biometric tech algorithms from Samsung. This includes data for facial recognition technology and fingerprint information.Even worse, Lapsus$ has illegally obtained the “bootloader source code” for all recent Samsung devices.
