HBO announced today that the popular HBO Max application will now be available in the Amazon App Store for installation on Firestick and Fire TV devices.
The app is set to launch on November 17 and will be available on Fire TV, Fire TV Cube, Fire TV Smart Televisions and Fire Tablets.
HBO Max is full of HBO originals, documentaries, and much more.
It is listed as one of the Best Firestick Apps by TROYPOINT.
Currently, users have to side-load the application for use on the Firestick and Fire TV.
How To Install HBO Max on Firestick/Fire TV
However, this process is no longer required with the addition of HBO Max to the Amazon App Store.

If you are an HBO Max customer, you will need to uninstall your side-loaded version of the application and reinstall via Amazon App Store.
The HBO Max app will replace the current HBO app which should automatically update for those who already have it installed on their device.
