HBO Max is WarnerMedia’s upcoming streaming platform that will be launched in May 2020.
This service will be bundled with WarnerMedia’s shows and movies, as well as a huge library of new and original programming produced exclusively for HBO Max.
AT&T acquired Time Warner in 2018 and the newly named subsidiary immediately announced its plans to compete in the growing streaming services industry.
HBO Max, during its press conference in 2019, claimed that there will be more than 10,000 hours of available content once the direct-to-consumer video service is launched. This will cater to audiences of all ages.
While HBO’s current services such as HBO GO and HBO NOW will still be offered, HBO Max, however, will include additional programs and exclusive content such as all-time favorites South Park, Friends, Doctor Who, and more.

According to HBO Max, it remains confident with its decision to finally get into the streaming business.

HBO Max Preview

HBO and WarnerMedia have not released a lot of information about HBO Max but since its official announcement last year, there have been plenty of developments.

Supported Devices

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K
As of this writing, no list of compatible devices for HBO Max has been announced so far and KODIFIREIPTVexpects that it will be released a few weeks from its launch in May 2020.
KODIFIREIPTVexpects, however, that similar to Netflix, Apple TV and Disney+, HBO Max will be accessible by Amazon Fire TV and Firestick, Android TV, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, as well as Android and iOS devices.

Streaming and Picture Quality

Right now, there’s no official announcement yet on whether HBO Max will offer streaming video in 4K or HDR resolution.
KODIFIREIPTVexpects that this will be possible, however, since HBO Max’s current competitors Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and even Disney+ are offering 4K HDR resolution for optimum viewing experience.
Mobile support is also expected as well as multiple streaming capabilities for each account although the company has yet to provide details on these features.
