  1. Hi Tanya, great content as always, thank you πŸ™πŸ». I have a question if you don’t mind, I have recently purchased the Amazon Fire Cube 2nd Gen which has the same 100mb bandwidth as the FS 4K Max (1st Gen) can I use the gigabit adapter which you show in the video on the fire cube also to increase bandwidth ? Many thanks in advance.

  2. I brought the gigabit connector from the link but it's USB and the firestick is micro usb, do I have to get another adaptor for the crossover? I've looked but can't see how I can connect this in place of the amazon adaptor that I have as that has a both connector , one for the hard wired cable from my router extender and micro usb but no usb fitting anywhere

  3. Great video Tanya. As my firestick 4k max didn't come with an Ethernet adapter, I ordered this one off Amazon, "UGREEN USB Ethernet Adapter, USB 3.0 to1Gbps Gigabit Network Adapter". Sadly, no matter what I tried the firestick refused to recognise it. Back on to Amazon and found this one, "Cable Matters Micro USB to Ethernet Adapter Up to 480Mbps for Streaming Sticks". Connected it all up, and firestick instantly recognised the adapter. It has been connected for 2 weeks now and not a single issue. I hope this is of help to other subscribers of this channel. Keep the great content coming Tanya.

  4. Thanks Tanya for your many tutorials….I have a special problem as follows…..For the past year,or so,I have been using VLC to live stream a single security camera (Wyze2) via rtsp, to an Amazon Gen3 firestick connected to a standalone monitor, the
connection is a cat6 from camera to an access point and from the access point via cat6 to an asus gt-ax11000 Rapture
router and router to monitor via wwifi 8 feet away.

With every update to the firestick I would have to re-establish the video stream, which was quite easy by simply opening VLC and selecting a tab named 'History' and the stream would commence, however the past few times I have needed to re-establish the stream the tab called 'History' is no longer there, and I am not sure if 'History' was a part of the Gen3 firestick or part of VLC ?.

Can anyone confirm if this 'History' tab was a part of, VLC or Firestick.?

My reason for the inquiry is, I am 84 (with poor eyesight) and to re-enter my login details is quite complicated and the 'History' option was perfect for me to operate.

Is there a way to save camera login details when I am stream to my stand-alone monitor ?.

Sorry if I have been a bit long winded, but thanks in advance to any reply.
