The new updates for anyone on FireOS 8 and above means that apps like Mouse Toggle will no loner work. Amazon have blocked the use of ADB on the new Amazon Firesticks, including the 4K max.

  6. Hi! Lee I am appalled that Amazon are treating their subscribers with the news i can no longer download items onto my Firestick!! Like many people i have a few firesticks. I would NEVER have bothered with them in the first place if I had known. Now they are in the BIN!! I now have an android box that I can use, and have used to download various shows etc etc ..Mike

  9. Hey I’m new and subscribed to help you good luck. I just bought a Hoowel google tv 55” I’ve been trying to find reviews for it with no luck. Had to get this tv cause of my budget right but i tapped my other tv and bam fell right I’ve and of course it didn’t work after that. So i needed a tv fast. I’m gonna get an LG in a few weeks. I heard there tvs are the best right now. I had a Vizio that’s the one that broke. Didn’t like it very much anyway so I’m kinda glad i broke it 😅 lol

  10. Wish I’d known 6 months ago this 💩 was going to happen b4 purchasing a new cube on top of 2 4K max sticks , FOR the sideloading capabilities they have a bloody nerve to do what they did ,
    they completely led us on knowing they were changing os system had I known no way I’d of wasted my money buying there 💩,
    Then the ads on prime bs but last straw for me was them going into my device and removing apps I had purchased from doc blocking ADB ,
    That was enough cancelled my membership got a refund and same for apps I purchased.
    Ordered a shield pro just arrived yesterday .
    Don’t think they realise how many ppl side load something even me grandad does so he can watch his live footy on Saturday due to blackout on footy .

  14. I have 4 fire sticks and I an looking to send them all back to Amazon as they no longer work with apps perches from the Amazon store. First of all they have no right to block or uninstall any application previously installed on to your devices as they no longer own them. As they sold you the device, and you perches it in good faith and at the time of purchase you was not informed that they were planning to restrict or remove your accessing to previously purchased apps they are in breach of contract, as the product is no longer fit for purpose as a result of their software update so you are now entitled to a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  17. I think that we should ALL start DEMANDING OUR MONEY BACK. Firestick was great, now every update, Amazon are eroding the freedom we should enjoy. Its not like they are the ONLY streaming stick supplier. DEMAND REFUNDS AND CANCEL PRIME, THREATEN TO USE EBAY AS ALTERNATIVE

  22. I have several.firesticks. No idea on whatbyoubare referring too, nevervused any of that, and firestick works fine for every app on it i need, never an issue. Never heard of the ones you are referring too at all, and not blocking anything farcas i can tell. Same now as it was years ago.

  25. I stopped using my fire stick when they forced ads before prime movies. I already pay for prime, I shouldn't have to pay more for Amazon to not show me ads. They're trying to get paid twice, once by me and a second time by forcing ads onto me. So at this point, I'm paying just for two day shipping. I don't need to watch prime. I will use it to see what I want to see and then find it on the internet so I don't have to watch their ads.
