In a recent update Amazon have blocked certain apps from working on Firestick and other Fire TV devices. ADB debugging is a feature some apps depend on to work, but the ability for apps to do this has been removed. Meaning some apps don’t work on Firestick which did before.

Firestick also blocks BET+ from working unless you have the PREMIUM membership, which is total B.S. The basic membership for BET+ is only 5 bucks. That's reasonable. Being forced to pay 10 bucks for the ad free version is borderline extortion! 😠
Is this why mouse toggle on the fire stick isn't working anymore it stopped working a couple days ago it keeps saying status starting and the pointer won't show on the screen
Hey, just want to say love your videos. But I have a question. Eventually Firestick is going to get rid of the android background and their own system. Therefore, you can’t no longer download streaming services from outside sources. Is there another device that you can recommend that will be able to do this.
Im not suprised to be honest, the pure greed from amazon recently shows the way they will be going. Its not the end of the world, we used android boxes before the fire devices, we'll just end up using them again

I had the firestick 4k… used it for several year. Recently bought a fire
stick 4k max, much better , snappier, more storage. At the same time I bought the ONN 4k streamer… expanded the memory for a few bucks and played around with it. Returned the firestick 4k max and have been so happy playing with the ONN. For $20 bucks this thing is amazing. I bought a 2nd one for my living room and just got my cousin on one. I’ve become an ONN fanboy. 😂

Stopped using the firestick in January 2024, after using them for the last 3 yrs, too many changes don't like what they are doing with the updates, but your channel did help with using Firestick thanks! I'm currently using Superbox S5 Max and in my rec room Vseebox v3 Pro they work way better than the Firestick I added my VPN and a IPTV Service as a back up no issues with buffing .
as of yesterday since the update of my fire cube 2nd generation the adb debugging does not work anymore unable to use tech doc app killer to close all apps being this does not work will I have my money back from amazon if I ask them

I already own the 2 apps APP Killer and Cache Cleaner from TDUK. They do not work since the ADB debugging is not working. I deleted them and the Amazon app store let me re-download but still do not work

I replaced my Fire TV Stick 4k Max with a Chromecast 4k back in November and I'm glad I did it! Fire TV will become more restrictive than even Roku at this pace.
Eyup Adam, any idea why I'm getting a message on my FS Max saying it's not connecting with their servers and can't connect to the home page? Oddly though my VPN and streaming apps are still working. Any advice would be welcome. Mouse toggle and ADB are ok.
