If you force close the apps. Will they start to run again in the background or will they stay dormant until you choose to use them again?

Everyone needs to be aware that the 'auto offload' facility on a firestick WILL delete apps even when it's set to OFF…this happened on my 3rd gen firestick and I lost about 30 apps off my external USB storage, and most of these I not be able to get back = turning 'auto offload' off will NOT protect your installed apps !
