hm.. I expected more from mosquito, when I heard the snippet, I fell in love! I was in sleepless nights listening to the extended versions fans have made of this snippet. But this did not meet my expectations for the official version, it seems repetitive, AND THOUGH the extended version was repetitive itself (as it only had one melody).. it really was that good to play on repeat.. meanwhile, this is not something id play on replay. The lyrics were flavorless, and had not satisfied that craving I had for them. A really good interpretation of my expectation was made by vanko, features the lyrics pinkpanthress wrote for "Way Back" by Skrillex, as many had thought that the project mosquito was scratched and was put into use for a song she was featured in. It was only natural for the craving others had for this project, to be satisfied, and vanko did exactly that, my craving was satisfied. I love you pinkpanthress, but girl.. a fan-made version of this concept was more music to my ears than this.
And before anybody attacks me, im entitled to my own opinion and would just like to share the viewpoint from an excited fan to a disappointed one. I understand the amount of praise this song has received, but is it just me?
