I watch and follow a few of you streaming guys and everyone has said something different about what they think will be released. But I think your assessment is probably the most accurate. Replacing the existing 4K max doesn’t make much sense on the surface. So as you say. That becomes the 4K.
Also I’d be surprised if they had any USB-c portals or anything like that. I reckon Amazon make a tidy profit on every OTG cable/adapter they sell. Other retail outlets are available of course. Good video. Hope you’re well 👍🏼

To me it's simple, Any differences are obviously soo slight for the new Firestick compared to the 4K Max, it make no business sense having them both on sale at the same time. I don't care about the design as the it is completely out of view behind the TV

They will be likely to add a gaming type controller to their system as the latest update would suggest. Or maybe it's a new button color, lol. Maybe they've added blinking LED lights, lol. Until I can put an end to their ads, data collection and remote control of the devices that I purchase, I will boycott them.

They need to come back out with a box , I have 2 fire boxes gen 1 and gen 2 , and every stick that came out .both boxes have USB and are able to be side loaded , the sticks are junk , Amazon would be smart to go back to the box

I wouldn't be surprised if they come out with a fire stick that you purchase, but still owned by Amazon. For example, they control everything on "your" fire stick and what you can do with it as if it were their own personal property. Based on previous firmware updates they have pushed, they could try to do something like prevent side loading and control what you watch. Endless commercials/advertising that you can't evade. They need a captive audience to sell there wares.
