Thanks CC. I'm taking advantage of this offer. I realized our living room firestick was almost 7 years old. Much slower and doesn't maximize our fast internet speed. I am a prime member and fairly tech savvy, but if it had not been for this video I don't know when or if I would of found out.

So, i see they arent offering trade in for the Recast TV. So now i have a 4 tuner OTA DVR that doesnt work because they stopped all support on it including the program guide. This sucks!

I traded in three of my old Kindle fires and got my wife a Kindle reader that was on sale. If I knew we could trade in the Fire TV sticks as well, I'd have traded those in as well. They gave me the highest credit instantly. The rest I received after they received the devices.

I have a second-generation Firestick. My question is would the trade-in be worth it due to some of the cons of the 4k Max.

I sent in my Kindle Oasis and got $75 credit. I never used it so great deal for me. I can get 20% off a new kindle, but i dont need one.

I just threw away 2 firesticks away yesterday that stopped working 😢

Does the cube do TV? I'd love to trade my Gen1 stick in and score that. I've heard the sound integration to your stereo is easy.

I'm guessing they offer a trade in for blocking out the older firesticks that were jail broken. Can the new one be jail broken? I'm guessing not.
