  14. Nope…ive just realized something about he new firestick max with 16gb. The new fire os 8…has really limited the end user as to what they can do with the device they now own. The 16gb is a nice upgrade…but to be honest..i expected to be a big "but" with the extra storage.
    Here me out…for years we firestick owners have been screaming for extra storage on the device…now they've given it to us..but it comes with new limitations. Theyre of course expecting firesrick users to flock to the new extra storage which allows them to limit our 3rd party options and enjoyment of the device we rightfully own. I fell for it…but I have woken up. There are more than a few really good options on the market now that provide the exact same experience that the firestick provides without the limitations. I currently have 3 firestick 4k maxs with the 8gb storage…along with a few extras that I use for customers.
    So…i will be personally slowly removing firesticks from my repitoire unless the updates come through to allow us to see the full experience we should be seeing on the new devices(thumbnails..files..etc) re files: tivimate 4.7 will not allow the fire os7 backup to be carried to the fire os8 device. I don't know if this is an amazon issue or tivimate issue? Time will tell.

    For now my 3 older 4k maxs work great with fully loaded kodi, tivimate, stremio, cinemahd, debrid..etc…and still have 1.5 gb left for storage…which is enough to run smoothly.
    These sticks are currently running fire os7…if they ever toss an update to fire os 8…will we see the same problems? Again..time will tell.

    One thing ive learned from this experience…is that Im no longer allowing Amazon to control my personal devices. I congratulate you Amazon on opening my eyes…I can only hope…im not the only one and this roll out of new sticks falls flat on their laps as a joke!!

  18. Anyone get the latest Amazon update and have all the third party/sideloaded apps missing from the home screen area? They are still installed but can't be made available on the home area. Firecube 2nd gen here. I can use the launcher to see them all but home button no longer will launch wolf.
