  8. This remote is definitely not worthy of the name "Pro!" It's not worth the extra $5. $2.50 extra, maybe.

    PROS:

    1. The battery cover is actually easy to remove! A BIG PLUS!

    2. The headphone button.

    3. Find my remote.

    CONS:
    1. The backlight makes it eat batteries! I have to change them every four to six weeks compared to once a year for the older remote. They could have at least designed it to use AA batteries OR making it rechargeable.

    2. All of the shortcut buttons should have been programable.

    SUGGESTION
    Mr. Bezos should have his design team fix the shortcomings and introduce the new Remote Pro 2

  20. Amazon have lost me. Sick of their banning apps etc. Yes you can run another launcher but it's still a pain.
    I got myself a Xiaomi Mi TV 4k stick & its great! Up there & better than a firestick. No banning crap. Android 11 & quite fast.
    You should do a review on it. Screw Amazon.
    So my firesticks 4k & the 4k Max currently for sale.

  29. Hi doc can you or anyone help me I’m trying to put kodi on my android tv when kodi is downloaded when I open it and move cursor it says new controller detected I can’t do anything it just stays so I have to exit and uninstall it is not doing anything can you help cheers

    And I don't ever enter any give away
    To me it just a wate of money
    It's just amazon way of getting you to spend more money

  45. Hey, Doc…I purchased the new Fire remote Pro based on your video here where you say you can program "third-party" apps in one or both of the custom buttons, but I don't see how to do that, and when I researched it, it says you can't. Am I missing something 🤔
