  1. Thanks for your videos. I have the 4k Max and hub with a 64 GB thumb drive with the adapter and mission power supply. My question is that I am having issues with being able to download apps to my thumb drive. Basically I can't control what goes on internal or external. Help please.

  2. Also, when formatting my external hard drive to device storage and later try to download an app. I am receiving an error message stating that I still do not have enough space. It's like if the app is not being downloaded to my new 2 TB hard drivešŸ¤”šŸ¤”. Would could be the issue?

  3. I purchased all of your recommended equipment above including a new 4K MAX. I even got the velcro strips. I got the OTG adapter with the wires and everything powered up nicely but it doesn't seem to recognize the 2 T hard drive. I did not purchase the hub as I don't want the ethernet port function but everything else is the same.I don't get the "unable to read USB prompt" or the device storage option you mention. The light blue power light on the hard drive does come on. Does this help?

  4. Love your videos very informative. I have a question for you I was hooking up Ethernet cable on the firestick. The problem I have, if the External thumb drive is hooked up it doesn't recognize the Ethernet connection in setting. When I removed the OTG Adapter with the thumb drive it recognizes it.. do you have any suggestions.

  5. Hi there. Bumped into your video last night, and bought just about all of the equipment.

    A couple of points: 1) I used the cheaper Oassusose adapter over the Mission one. Saved $7 and it worked just fine;

    2) your alternate OTG hub is not compatible with your solution, so you may want to delete the link to it on Amazon;

    3) the Ugreen USB hub is out of stock, but it had an older 10/100 Ethernet port. I substituted it with the newer Ugreen USB 3.2 hub with a Gigabit port and it works great;

    4) I tried to install a Kingston 128GB USB drive and my Fire Stick didnā€™t see it.

    In your video, you used a 2TB hard drive. Do you recommend only using that? Or could a smaller hard drive also work? Obviously my USB thumb drive didnā€™t work.

    Great video, itā€™s appreciated!

  6. I added all equipment you showed, except I did a new 128GB ScanDisk thumb drive and I did get the screen of unable to read USB device and I did format, but it immediately showed that I had 121GB of External Storage. I never got the screen to select Device Storage. How do I get it put to Device Storage?

  7. I followed everything to a t, it worked beautifully. Then I added my sound bar, now the hard drive beeps and changes the input so it won't work. Have to unplug the drive for fire stick to work, otherwise it the input screen shows up, no device found.
