Thank you. But, this begs the question, why do I have to go through all of this for a product that I paid good money for. Let Amazon fix it from their end. I am sick and tired of doing the tech work for these companies that gladly take my money for faulty products.
How to fix – clean the metal battery contacts in the battery compartment with vinegar. Leave to dry and then pop the batteries back in.
This doesn’t work. I’ve had two remotes do this in one week and tried this but the next day, the batteries were dead again.
I bought a new amazon firestick JUST so I could have a 2nd remote in the living room. I successfully paired the 2nd remote to my firestick that we have already had for a couple years. It worked for a while then I started to get the “low battery “warning. This is a NEW remote. I didn’t even use the amazon batteries, I used new energizer ones. I have tried all the tricks unplugging the fire stick, resetting my remote, holding down the home button, holding down the “three” buttons down together. Restated my fire stick, seriously these are just comical things that they are trying to get us to do. Can anyone help???
yep, doesn't work. I have tried multiple times. Burned through a dozen batteries already. Used my credit card extended warranty to buy a new one because amazon would not accept the return. <4k firesticks still working ok in the house. The only other solution is to download firestick tv remote on your phone. Really disappointed with amazon on this one.
