What if you got new wifi? So as a result, the TV is not connected to any wifi and will not connect with the new remote because neither would be connected to the internet

I have a non-smart TV. I am using a regular fire stick. The remote is broken. I ordered a new remote from Amazon and I can’t get it to pair to the fire stick. However, the holding the home screen button method paired The remote to my LG TV. It turns up the volume and Power it off. The issue is the Firestick part isn’t it.
