  2. Hi, as a new subscriber I am thankful for your information. I'm not convinced that a VPN will keep out my ISP and Amazon from accessing my information even with the settings changed. Do I need to do a hard reset of all my tech and start over to fully be free of the cookies? Will my apps still even function correctly? If I use my cell for any of this won't they have access then anyway if my cell is linked to my laptop &TV? If my Blu-ray, AVR, TV, Cell and modem are all networked then wouldn't I need my modem side loaded to block their access? If a VPN truly provides encryption then why do I need to change so many of the Firestick settings for privacy?

    So after viewing your video I checked to see if my fire stick had the latest update and it said that I did have latest update as of. 2/25/23 but the numbers were completely different from the ones you showed. Do you think it's cause you're in the UK and I'm in New York City? Please let me know because I do have the problem you mentioned about not understanding the audio when I'm watching a movie and have to rely on subtitles which fade before I can finish reading the entire subtitle. Thanks

    Unfortunately, my FireTv stick is 2nd generation and it is fully updated. However, I don’t have the “Sound updates “.

    My biggest concern now is how to add more storage after my cache is cleaned up. I’m having to clean my cache every day and be careful of adding any new apps. Do you have some kind of video that explains how to add more storage ? I greatly appreciate it. Yours- from 🌞 Florida

  27. Just bought a Firestick, thinking it was a newer 4K, but got fooled. Followed your directions and my NEW Firestick had 220 apps! I only d/l'd the background app, there is 3.51 GB available.
    That bk-ground app couldn't clear cache on Amazon apps, but did see developer options were missing, so thx for reminding me how to gain access. I bought new Firestick as I am replacing those that are 4-5 yrs old, but I'm not excited abt new Firestick. Did get the 4K with blue Alexa voice button and peacocktv, etc on bottom, which is better.
