The team at Kodi Fire IPTV strongly suggests that you use a VPN at all times.
Be it for browsing, watching Kodi, watching IPTV or anything else – the one that we recommend is Hidden Router. They provide you with very fast speeds, that can reach over 400Mbps, and their VPN service is as low as $6 per month (when paid for 2 years)!

  1. Amazing. With your direction, I easily got the developers setting back. I have another issue you might be able to help me with. I've tried to add a thumb drive to the firestick 4K to increase my storage. Firestick clearly sees the drive given how it was flashing and that it gives a message of improper removal if I simply pull the thumb drive off the cable. Also, there are several files from Amazon installed on the drive. All this said, I can't find a listing for my usb thumb drive anywhere in settings. I tried resetting to factory settings which changed nothing. How can I gain access to my thumb drive which Amazon Firestick clearly knows is in place?

  2. Why do all you guys title these videos with "jailbreak"? Jailbreaking is a specific type of kernel exploit used only on iOS devices. You don't jailbreak Androids. You can unlock the bootloader and root androids but that's completely different than jailbreaking.
You didn't do anything close to rooting the Firestick. Installing apps from unofficial sources is not jailbreaking.

Everything you're talking about can be done on Android straight out of the box with no need to use any exploits.
Firesticks run Android TV OS for those unaware.
