As always your videos are fantastic, I have multiple file managers and I also have a terabyte drive that I use for tivimate to save videos on, if you could make an end up the video on how to save your apks and apps to the file manager to move them over to the terabyte hard drive it will be wonderful I need a new firestick and I don't want to have to reload everything I'd like to see if either a I can run them off the terabyte orbi save them to the terabyte and then move them back over to the new Fire stick that would be such a blessing so I don't have to redo every single thing looking forward to your answer thanks so much

Hi, i set mines up correctly, except somethings wrong, because my FireStick didn't ask me to format the external 64GB Stick i used, however, when i open up my ES File Explorer Pro i can see that i have an external storage drive and access it and use it as if it was on my computer, but, when i go to my FireStick settings -> My FireTV -> About -> Storage the only thing the FireTV Stick recognized is the internal drive, but not the external drive. i can't figure out why and i'm past frustrated trying to figure out why and i don not want to reset my firestick back to Factory Setting Status. Please help me, maybe i'm not the only one?

  13. Thank you for this video. However, I just installed Firestick on 3/26/23 and can't clear all the cache for Amazon apps that my elderly parents don't use. I follow the process and cleared the cache. But when I back out, it goes back to what it had before. Am I missing a command? Also, all the apk files on my downloaded apps were empty and I never clear them. HMM

  18. @CURIOSITY CAFE…What am I doing wrong with clearing cache. I have a Fire TV and I followed your instruction to clear the cache to zero but when I hit the back error on my remote to clear cache in other apps, the cache I thought I cleared is still there.

  21. Hi – thanks for a very helpful video. I was getting the critical memory message and I followed through all the steps that you suggested and deleted a few Apps. I now have 533MB free and only a handful of Apps installed. I have restarted Firestick – any ideas?

  24. Please get back to me. I did everything u said now my remote to firestick won’t do anything!!! Stays on just ONE app. Can’t volume up or down, can’t mute, can’t up and down, can’t turn off from remote.. etc.. what happened. Do I have to buy a new firestick now? Shit!!!!!!!

  27. I recently upgraded a Firestick 4K to a Firestick 4K Max. When I setup the 4k Max, I was able to import the apps from the 4K stick. surprisingly after a week of using the 4K Max, I started receiving the error that I was running low on space. Never received it with the regular 4K.

  28. I have had Best Buys Geek Squad come out 4 times trying to get this to work. I've been given several reasons for this not working. Needs more power, thumb drive to large, needs to be a USB 3 thumb drive, need 4k firestick. I have bought 3 OTGs, thumbdrives 1g 2.0, 32g 2.0, 32g 3.1, early versions of the firestick, & a 4k firestick. My firestick is in my hdmi port, otg connected to firestick, thumbdrive, and power. This setup exists on all 3 of my smart vizio tvs. TV can't find the drive just the firestick. What's wrong.
