Had a different problem that I contacted Amazon about. They took control of my device. After that problem was handled, I asked to go to the notifications. Then I asked why I was getting that "music" crap all the time. I was told it was coming from Alexa!! 😂 Thank you so much for putting that problem out of it's misery and mine.

When you disable an app from opening do you actually see a reduction in the amount of RAM being used? When you do a firmware update does it restore all the bloatware ?

My biggest issue is that as long as I have owned my 4k Stick it has never been able to play an Amazon movie or show but all other apps work fine.

This worked thanks but I always get a yellow dot above ipvanish and downloader apps on the home screen.

Good morning I have a 4k firestick I added kodi inside I downloaded Fido and the crew, they both were working excellent until I took my firestick back to factory mode added kodi back with no problem the crew no problem but now Fido won't load up anymore I've tried everything the Christmas one works but not the original can you help me please. Nice one .but are you aware that when you get rid of the annoying music notification. In preference settings . Notification settings~app notifications~they all come on. And can't switch off. On 4k max

But it goes and turns on all notifications on. Preferences

Thanks for releasing this video. I have a question about your fix – does disabling that service disable all notifications or just the music one? I had other notifications pending and they all disappeared as soon as I disabled the mentioned service.

I literally had a system update the other day on my bush amazon smart tv an it said bug fixes in the discretion but didnt fix this issue still get it😂

There is no Developer Options on the My Fire TV button

I have this issue but, it comes on at exactly 3am every night.? Odd. So, it's marketing BS by Amazon, as usual, that causes this. I'm not downloading some independent app. That's much worse than a slight annoyance.
