did this and had 0.. tried Def squid and Top commander think its called… have back ground adds and processes got all these and STILL got less than 1g storage. Cleared cache and everything. Not sure what else to try. Even deleted apps I don't use.. HELP

Another issue I have ran into that runs right with this is my Downloader for some reason went crazy. And it wouldn't let me do anything even when I had plenty space etc. So i thought okay Uninstall reinstall Downloader. Yeah Downloader fixed, but then I noticed I still had same amount of space so I could install a couple apps. This is long and stupid but when I deleted and put a new Downloader updated version on. Space didn't change. Found I didn't delete files before Uninstalling Downloader in files section I kept wether it be jpg apps whatever. Like doc said make sure ya delete. Because the files can get caught in limbo but no matter what app you use. You will never find and have to do a fresh start and completely wipe your firestick.
Ok I have all my allowed apps on external sd card ..only the amazon apps on my firestick 4k max . I have no files in download folder because I always delete . And I still have less than 1 gb of memory on my firesticks internal memory

It erased all the files but my memory stayed the same. But I only had like 6 on their.

It didn't work for me. My firestick memory never went lower when I deleted the files 😞 I can't even download all4 and I have 2 apps that I've downloaded on my firestick the rest are amazon ones.
I deleted my downloader app since I never use it, thinking it would help fix my problem. No matter how many apps I delete I’m still getting the critically low pop up. I show to have a different downloader app but when I look through my apps there isn’t one there. When I try to redownload the downloader app u said to clear, it won’t let me bc I don’t have enough storage… what is going on with these fire sticks. This is the second one I’ve had this issue with in 2 weeks. My other one died after I tried to add storage to it. This is ridiculous. We should be able to have more than 5 apps on these things. And it shouldn’t be this difficult to clear space
I did this and it didnt help. Ive cleared everything and have exactly 3 apps.
