45ish police forces in UK visiting 1k premises that’s 22 premises to be visited per force area, if it’s to be believed. Suspect the info has come from selling actual set top boxes / credit card records rather than just streaming. Dropping letters off means police either don’t have the evidence to go and get a warrant by convincing a magistrate, or even the time to do so and then to run an investigation through to prosecution.

The police cannot enter your house without a court order, and in order for the court order to be approved, they must first prove that you are doing something wrong.
It costs thousands of pounds to do all that, so it's not worth sending the police.
