Just got mine yesterday that replaced the 2nd gen. Mine turns on the TV/receiver which then turns on the amp. It's just incredible! This is so far and away better than Roku. It's not even a fair fight. Only issue is some apps/companies don't play well with Amazon. Vudu is a mess on Fire TV devices, movies anywhere is another disaster on Fire TV devices.
I purchased the cube a few months ago and I am still learning more about this but I like the idea of all in one unit and the sound of the 4k is awesome also the picture quality is so much better than the other. I think you are going to enjoy your cube and the speed and I have yet to run into buffering problems ✌🏽. Looking forward to your review.

I got the previous version and happy with that . I watched some YOU tube video that makes the cube run faster and better, just have to change some settings . I did that and noticed the difference in speed , loads up apps faster .
Please compare the speed of the 4K max and this cube. I found the Max much better than the 2nd generation cube.
