Jailbreak! Not appropriate, never has been and it does not describe what is happening. I would say it is options not included with Amazon products, e.g. side loading with downloader. The truth of the matter is Fire TV has more interesting and advanced options then the Roku. I have both but the first time I bought a Roku TV I stuck my fire stick in it and I pretty much stay on that
