Hey TDUK, FYI, Troy Point developed a Launcher Manager app that gets around the Amazon updates and will open with a Custom Launcher if you reset or unplug firestick, just don't hit the home button and it will not take you back to the Stock Launcher
Also, if you do update firestick, you can still use the custom launcher, just have to launch that application (in my case Wolf) and it just depends on how you turn TV off
I have a couple of ROKU'S, if I leave the TV on Wolf home screen and turn off or it goes off on timer, when TV is turned back on, I just click on the Firestick icon from home screen and Wolf Launcher is there, for other TV, I turn it on and it takes about 10 seconds after firestick comes on but it goes to the Wolf Launcher via the Troy Point Launcher app without hitting any buttons, just wanted to share
Unfortunately they will get more tools to find more people but it won't stop as long as those cable companies keep going up on their prices. I think the IPTV people will also get better at hiding from those who the cable companies want out of business.
IPTV people will just up their game. This is getting fun.
