Announced just over 2 weeks ago, YouTube TV added 5.1 Surround sound audio for devices like the Nvidia Shield, Roku and other Android tv. However the Firestick was left out of the mix. It looks like though, Surround sound 5.1 is now being added to the Firestick 4K Max, Firestick lite and the Firestick 3rd generation. Although not a crazy new feature, it will help users have a better overall experience with the service.
