I would suggest putting up a catzebo if your allowed, if only for safety. It only takes one bird flying past and an overexcited cat to unfortunately have a mishap. There are now lots of "invisible mesh" systems and that area is not very big art all. It wouldn't take long to do, and could be a great series for your viewers, besides being not that expensive to outfit and would mean the cats would be totally safe out there.
