I too am autistic, And am returning to showbusiness next year, It is you I have to thank Sir, I saw your golden buzzer AGT performance and was blown away, I am almost 45 and was diagnosed late with autism, On that same Day My Grandmother passed away, But Seeing your performance of Song for You by Donny Hathaway has given me a new sense of purpose, Blessings from Birmingham, England!

  25. So please forgive my ignorance, I just want to understand. I’ve heard that people with autism don’t feel or process emotion, in the same way as everyone else so would that mean his amazing talents are more a mechanical social/ emotional responses learned over time? If this is true, I just can’t wrap my head around how someone with such a gift couldn’t actually feel what they’re doing?!? Either way, he’s an amazing human being that’s been an inspiration to so many… we’re lucky to have him!!

  38. WHy is it that the people that might have a reason to feel mad at the world are so many times the sweetest and most kind. How many times to we see a big star licking cupcakes and putting them back or just awful, petty behavior… as if somehow their charmed lives arent enough for them.
