  2. the spectrum ceo is a very smart person. This password sharing is a lot of crap if you ask me. It is reduces the cumpany's beeing able too make money which hurts everyone. Hulu does it write, if you are not if the home area every so often you can not get in too the app. They should make it too where if you are not on home network you can not watch at all. Rather than giving out your password let people get there own crap. It is sad we live in a i want everything for free world. People need too grow up and buy there own stuff and cut the crap.

Thanks so much for the very good updates.

  3. ATT Now needs to go away. They have continuously increased the price. There are constant issues with the service for example them saying that my connection is the issue when its on there end. I have a 200 mbps down connection that isn't the issue and its hard lined into my smart devices. Also the DVR service is terrible guessing where the commercials end and when the show begins without seeing a preview of what is taking place as I'm fast forwarding even with VCR's you were able to see what was taking place. Youtube TV or HULU tv seem to be the ticket with live tv that is cordless at the moment. Personally I like Youtube TV now its cheaper and has just about all the standard cable channels and a AWESOME DVR.

  4. Hulu is $12. Netflix is $13. Amazon is $13. HBO Max at $15 is reasonable considering the quality they offer. HBO Max can compete on price with the ad-based version in 2021. Since Netflix isn't willing to run ads, HBO Max can offer a cheaper tier to undercut Netflix. Any word on if HBO Max will offer 4K streaming?

  5. I have been listening to you for months about ATT TV Now. I started with Direct TV Now. I have had some tech problems, but it got resolved with their great live CHAT service. Also I have receieved refunds more than once for issues. I hope they don't go away. Yes their have been price increases, but they are right in line with everyone else, almost. I have a grandfather plan that has two Hallmark Channels. Their new plan does not include them. Yet they offer Hallmark Channels for $5.00 more. Other streaming services don't offer Hallmark at all, not even for an extra charge

  6. Spectrum CEO needs to worry about his side of business..if a company wants to give people 4 to 6 screen sharing then thats the company decision..and to say there are 1 or 2 people in a household thats a lie..i have a family so i have more than 2 people in my household so do us all a favor and stop talking ignorant because us cord cutters dont want you high cost cable

  7. im not interested in live tv i just want my tv shows when i want them and the best source for the largest selection of tv shows and movies is guess where yep you got it youtube but they want to charge way to much per episode and season i wish they would just charge a monthly fee for total access to their library but no all they're trying to push is youtube tv

  8. The real "advantage" oh streaming live tv over cable and satellite is lack of contracts. The real truth is they are cheaper only because the overall package contains fewer channels. If the government is going to get into the mix the very first thing they should look at is "contracts" for satellite and cable. The providers are able to change the programming at will but the customer can do nothing . They are still required to pay. If they decide to opt out because they have lost the channels that they wanted to begin with they are hit with fees. This should be stopped if the provider changes to package then the customer should be able to leave at no cost. Imagine stopping at a gas station and filling up but getting stopped before you drive away and they siphon off a quarter of your fuel but get no refund. If a customer pays for a deliverable they should either get what they've paid for or be able to purchase it somewhere else. Also bait and switch should be looked at. Dish did this to me this passed summer. When I renewed the contract it was for 12 months which I wasn't expecting but was happy to get. When they sent me the confirmation email the subject line stated it was a 24 month contract while in the body of the email it was stated as a 12 month contract as agreed upon. Twenty minutes later I got ANOTHER email from them stating it was for a 24 month contract. They won't honor the 12 month one. Classic bait and switch. If I ever do anything like this again I WILL record the entire phone conversation.

  9. just let say no at@t on the tail end on century link so I was excited cut the cord had friend come over setup fire stick have dish well the apps all those movies up to date movies we tryed watch old superman $3.99 WE WANTED TO WATCH $3.99 can join all apps. so I be right back paying price like dish who do call

  10. The acid test for Spectrum would be for them to only allow two TV hookups per household, since they seem to think that only two TVs is all a household would ever have any use for. Since we know that's not true, and Spectrum would never limit their accounts to two TVs per household, that shuts down the whole two streams per account argument really quickly.

  11. man you cover a lot of great stuff. I cut my cord 6 years ago. Cable internet only. Im a contractor, I remodel homes. The problem is consumer ignorance, not understanding the tech, and being able to troubleshoot their problem. Iv'e been a road runner, time warner, now spectrum customer since cable internet became available. With a bad year of at&t thrown in. I hear all these customer complaints about bad customer service. I just dont get it. Yes ive had my problems, but it gets fixed. Shit happens. But the average consumer just doesnt understand the tech and know what to do to fix the most common issues. So they get pissed off having to deal with the phone call, and being on hold. We have this thing called Google search, that could solve so many common issues.

  12. The AT&T executive is just using the basic Cable TV financial model for Streaming. Add more channels and Increase the price. How many channels can a household actually watch? The future of Steaming TV is small low cost bundles of content. People have their favorite TV Shows, News, and Sports channels that they constantly watch. AT&T needs to focus on their customers needs instead of throwing a bunch of channels out to a customer.
