The absolute worst thing about directv now is their customer service. You are on your own. Good luck trying to get any problem solved. My local channels all of a sudden are coming from a different market and I have had no luck whatsoever getting to talk to a real person at directv now to get it fixed. In today's world…customer service is the winner. Directv now is the loser. I don't care how many channels they have. They're awful.

Got a subscription last year when they had an Apple TV 4K with 3 months prepay , after these recent changes I tried cancelling but they allowed me to keep my current price for the next 3 months , so I’m staying until then. Will look into Hulu + Live or PS Vue.

I like DirecTV now, it's also the fault of the channels. they raised their price causing dtnow to do the same. sucks they raised the price and the new packages barely have any channels. but if you keep your old package you still get all the channels until you cancel or switch to one of the new packages

Just a theory, but I'm curious if it's just DirecTV way of making the backdoor (so to speak) to cable more expensive overall in the hopes that other live TV streamers will follow suit and raise their prices. I know that cable companies and satellite cable providers have been bleeding the last couple of years with people waking up to the high cost of cable and satellite TV and since DirecTV is fundamentally a satellite carrier by their true nature they could be trying to make streaming television just as expensive or as close in price as possible to cable and satellite cable to keep people on the hook for those expensive bills from either side of the coin. Just my own personal theory though as it's all about the money.

I was a subscriber since day one, had grandfathered plan but has went up twice since then. Not worth it anymore so i dropped them.

Hey You should include PhiloTV as well. They have all the Viacom channels which only Direct TV Now had 😒😠. And they only charge $16. There also available on the Apple TV, With one of the best interfaces out there.

Can you please do a update on Direct TV now? Because I heard a rumor that that Warner Bros has another streaming service that's affiliated with AT&T called, "HBO Max". And the rumor has it merging with Direct TV now. So could you please verify this, thank you.
