Mine never gave me the option to force close it just closed by its self than when i went back to open kodi up it didnt open up saying xanzax and it didnt look nothing like yours ???

Can someone tell me how I find my local live news television on this version of Kodi ? I was able to view Live – Local News on previous versions but I cannot seem to find it now on this version. I have Xanax Build 2.5.1 at this moment.
At 14:20 in the video you say to click on settings, mine doesn’t come up settings, therefore I cant continue. What can I do?
I downloaded everything from this video but when I get to the kodi I follow the instructions but I get an a message like this "Couldn't retrieve directory information. This could be due to the network not being connected. Would you like to add it anyway?" I tried saying yes but can't continue with his instructions. I tried no and can't continue also. HELP!

BANG guess what you got to pay no mention thought. As always good thing always get spoilt and greed sets in. Its crazy i have my tv firestick since it started. Not sure if name not correct but sorry if not a guy called cris who made kodi was selling fire tv sticks with kodi on, on ebay and i had a few issues even exchanged my tv stick. Did say that he had enough and wasnt building know more. And must of sold it on or what ever. Since then kodi just gone down the pan now because it looks like its edging towards the point of paying for it now. Its only took 5 years before greed is setting in
