Not the channels themselves but what should be playing on the channels and the channels wouldn’t connect. My parents have no problem with IPTV on their Tv but I obviously can’t use it anymore.

If you picked a good iptv service the worst was no epg when they had to flush the system and that also caused catch up to be down.
I am using helix helical which went down. But I found a fix , log out and on the log out page select and click refresh DNS. That fixed the problem.
I noticed he didn't mention the 2 biggest iptv providers Netflix and amazon prime, which surprise surprise both are unaffected.
