Seeing this interview puts EVERYTHING INTO PERSPECTIVE… We've all heard that when Kodi performs he can do so with inhibition, that he understands (what he is doing) and he doesn't struggle to "get his point across"… But here in this interview we get to see "the other side of Kodi Lee" and you can see how much his autism affects him when he isn't performing… This interview makes me admire him even more (if that were even possible?)…
Kodi Lee is such a sweetheart but I feel like that is how those of us who have autism are. It makes it more heartbreaking because he is legally blind. I have autism and I know exactly what he means I use music to express how I am feeling and depress when upset or something. It's really hard to have autism I know a lot of people like me and Kodi get bullied for it. But also he proves that you can do anything you want to do and he pushed me to want to purse my dreams even more because I know I can do anything anyone else can do. I'm currently in college pursuing a degree in veterinary Technology. But to finish off what I want to say he really is an inspiration for anyone who has autism and or is blind and gives hope to them a long with family members of someone who has autism or is Blind. I am 3 years younger then him and as I have stated before he is a huge inspiration to me.
when Kodi Lee said. the million dollar prize. is for his mother. shows his deep affection & love for her. it's a very special & proud time for them. shinning in this moment of jubilation.
Hopefully since he won I hope his mom gets that Grand piano and uses some money to get surgery for his eyes so he can see how beautiful this world is and he’ll be able to see his family.
I don't believe in "God" in the conventional sense but I respect everyone's right to express their beliefs as they see/feel they are, I choose to believe that we all come from the same infinite source and each of us has a different combination of some of the things you can find at the source; a bit like each of us holding different pieces to the infinite mysteries of the universe, some like Kodi Lee, have an abundance of something or some things that makes them as he is with his music, his determination and that part of himself he shares during his performance, and I always feel privileged that people like Kodi choose to share it with others, Kodi is giving us a beautiful gift, and anyone who cannot/will not/or does not appreciate such beauty are the ones who are truly blind and deaf.
He's absolutely adorable, let alone silly and caring. If I could I would give him eyesight, atleast in one of his eyes. I feel sorry for him and his conditions. God gave him his conditions for a reason, the lord knew something good would come out of it. I am so proud, listening to to him sing is like seeing his life through words. It's outstanding and wonderful. I hope Kodi Lee becomes a famous singer and earns money to cure his blindness!
the title made me think he was gonna donate it to charity but no, he wants to get a ton of grand pianos in all different colors, hes so funny what a great sense of humor he has!!
