  5. Official statement : We have no choice but to close down Vader. We can't reveal much publically, but by now some of you should know through the other means what happened. We tried everything in our power to avoid this, to avoid any outage, but enough people worked against us. I understand a lot of clients will be pissed and will dispute…We would appreciate if everyone would take the financial losses we are all going to take, as resellers and direct sellers. But we will also understand people who will want money back. We're going to make sure, no Email, IP, account + reseller name goes to the wrong hands. Everything will be wiped clean and that's all. Thank you to the customers, ReSellers, support people for these great moments we cherisheed together. May you find a new and welcoming home!

    Vader servers have been siezed by the lawyers of MPAA by court order. There have been problems with snitches and people trying to tear vader down for months. Basically an admin John Doe was fired a couple months ago. In return he completely cooperated with investigators and lawyers and turned over all info he had. That led to the big time investigation and siezure of assets of the old head of vader. They froze his banks, assets, wife assets, and gave him a choice. Either cooperate and give up all your stuff or we will simply sue you and then keep all this money and assets. At that point the choice was made to wipe EVERYTHING to protect resellers, restreamers, and users alike.

    So at this point Vader is indeed dead and not coming back. Resellers lost everything, users lost everything. etc. We're all in a bit of a bind because I know people paid for service and now dont have it. I URGE people to not panic or be incredulous dickheads about this. If people start filing mass chargebacks it will indeed burn us to the ground because we will lose our ability to process payments for the services we do still have. I am trying tothink of a plan and work with some other services to see what can be done. The simple truth is I can not afford to reimburse every single day of every single user as I lost my shirt today as well. I know there are going to be people who lose their mionds because they had 5 days left on their sub and lose $3 worth of TV. Please understand our losses are already in the $10,000's and we want to find a way to keep everyone somewhat happy or at least feeling like we both got screwed and moved on

  8. It looks to be gone. Lots of ignorant comments on here though by people who did not know how to set the service up apparently. Vaders had over 2 dozen servers to choose from in the settings. If it was buffering a lot then they most likely did not select the best server for them (they were listed geographically). No other service I have seen has that. They also had the best and most comprehensive catchup feature by far. The match center was also different then all the others. Their app was also superior to most all (no stupid Smarters app or clone). The streams were no different then any other service. All the streams from every service I tried (and that is a lot) were pretty much the same so those touting "no buffering" are full of crap. Every service has channels that buffer here and there.

  13. we want to thank our partners, affiliates, suppliers, resellers and of course our loyal customers ( you know who you are….) – by now the authorities have the servers, but what they really want isn't going to be there. Everything wiped and sanitized. We'll try to provide a few more updates till we phase out completely.

  21. Use Mobdro . Free. Vader did not impress me the other day when admin said if you don't like it F-Off. very unprofessional. Did just fine without them before and will continue to do so. Paying customers should get their money back. To hell with absorbing any loss as they expect you to.

  27. Not sure if its cuz they had video on demand. If so other companies who uses the same platform setup like cloud 9 and ledtv im assuming would be closed down next. I know they use the same servers cuz when vaders was down for daily maintenance cloud 9 and ledtv was down at the same time

  30. I am glad Vader went down. They were greedy morons. Who stopped caring about their customers and the streaming had gotten really bad with lots of buffering and rude tech support. Cable kill and cord cutters channels need to be shut down as well They were huge Vader promoters. Good ridding. Now maybe a great more reliable service may come out of there fall. Just like SET TV they got greedy. Good for them
